WWE Fan Art Films Awesome The Rock vs. Roman Reigns WrestleMania 39 Poster

Roman Reigns vs. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson remains the biggest wrestling match WWE could book and it’s still the rumored main event for him. WrestleMania 39 Next April in Los Angeles. Reddit user u/troublebush47 took to the Squared Circle subreddit this week with an art version of that match’s fan poster, calling it “Battle for the Bloodline.” Reigns is still depicted holding the undisputed WWE Universal Championship, so in this version, he’ll be approaching 950 consecutive days as Universal Champion.

Johnson has given a number of interviews while promoting the release of Black Adam that hints at facing Reigns at WrestleMania next year. When asked if he “confess” Prins in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Johnson said, “I do, this is my family. I think these guys are doing a great job and I think, what an interesting transformation the company has been through this year, so unexpected. In a lot of ways. But when the unforeseen happens in that kind of way and shape and fashion, especially in this business, you have to have the ability and flexibility to pivot, which they have. Roman, I think he does a very good job, the boys too, usos too.”

But when asked by E! “Without naming any names, you’re looking him in the eye now,” Johnson said of what he considers the “chairman of the table.”

However, Johnson has previously said in interviews that if he comes back for another match, it won’t be the same a decade ago as he was stuck long enough for another World Championship match.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever get the title again, considering I’m the People’s Champion, but I don’t know if it’s another title,” Johnson told ComicBook last November. “I think it’s possible, you know, that there could be another match on the way. That should make sense.”

He later added, “It seems like Roman, you know, I’m obviously very close to Roman, and we talk about this all the time, and I keep encouraging him to keep doing your thing, and keep honing those skills.” “I think he’s doing a great job with his promotion, his management, his in-house work. It all just keeps getting better and growing. And that’s always the best part, I think, about the world of professional wrestling is that when somebody gets a swipe and gives the ball to the run, they either score a touchdown. with it or they don’t. But then some people not only score a goal for it but then start changing the way the game is played. And in Roman’s case, he does it slowly, and you can start reading tea leaves. And again, I’m so proud I love everything he does. I love everything the Usos do. I love what they do. Put it back together, and we’ll see what’s next.”
